Reef Inmates sells aquarium lighting systems and various other dry goods for high end aquariums, and they just offered us a sneak peak of their new Plasma LED fixture.  Obviously this may not be exactly what hits the market, but with over a year of R&D and testing invested it looks like it is nearing prime time.  The unit includes an integrated controller and we spy a USB port on the side for management and software upgrades.  Time will only tell as to when we can evaluate this plasma lamp against our existing LED options.  So, do you think plasma is the next revolution in aquarium lighting?
