Banggai Art Progressing

Here’s what Karen Talbot’s ( Karen Talbot Art ) Banggai painting looked like late Saturday. She’s working tirelessly to have it finished by the end of the show Sunday. It’s a raffle prize so attendees can stop at her booth and enter to win. As you can tell, it’s a very large piece of art that anyone would be more than proud to own.

MACNA Minicast Day 2

The second day of MACNA 2012 has ended. This is posted after the banquet, but was recorded before the banquet, so we’ll discuss that activity, along with Sunday’s events, in our Sunday night podcast. The Saturday discussion focuses on the many talks we attended Saturday and what we learned.

MACNA Button People

One of the activities at this year’s MACNA is to collect buttons. There’s some payoff for doing this, but that aside, people seemed to have great fun traipsing around from booth to booth collecting buttons to attach to their badge lanyards. I’m sure the vendors enjoyed the increased activity at their booths.
