Fluval SEA LED lighting

LED Tank Light Salt Water-Scaled Fluval, part of the Rolf C Hagen Company has been closely linked with the freshwater side of the hobby for many years and has only recently entered into the marine market.  Having received a mail shot from Fluval I thought I’d share some of their recent product news starting with their LED lighting range. LED Tank Light Salt NANO Fluval SEA Marina & Reef LED lighting incorporates six unique LED band widths and up to 692 individual LEDs, including ‘essential actinic blue wavelengths and key spectral reinforcement to provide a balanced combination for optimal coral photosynthetic activity, growth and viewing’.   Fluval say: ‘Full coverage and uniform lighting is achieved thanks to 120° light dispersion and all lights feature switchable day and night lighting modes.’   Fluval Marine & Reef lights are available in three lengths (60, 90 and 120cm), each with extendable brackets enabling them to mount on any aquarium straight out of the box. Additional suspension and mounting options are also available. A 156 LED nano light is also available with mounting bracket to easily attach to most small aquariums. NANOMarine_dayNANOMarine_nightMarineReef Small BlueLightMarineReef Bulb Small I will be meeting the UK marketing manager shortly to get my hands on some of Fluval’s products and look forward to seeing them ‘in the flesh’ and I must say it is nice to welcome another brand to the marine hobby.
