Best Reefs from Europe (2) – Krzysztof Tryc Tank
Chopin, Marie Curie or Pope John Paul II are distinguished Polish personalities. But how about our (reef) world…. Are Polish people also notable in reef husbandry? Yes… definitely yes! Over the last years, I have the chance to come across a few Polish tanks. Most of them had a singular characteristic… More:

Best Reefs from Europe (1) – Coral Maternity
Intro: Globalization! With the advent of the internet and consequently the reef-forums, reef-knowledge is being spreading instantly through over the world. But there is still one problem over this equation – Language. There are still a lot of husbandry techniques that are limited to some countries, especially those who don’t have English as first language, as many countries in Europe and Asia. I usually get reef-news first from USA, thanks to blogs like Reefs.com, than from neighbour countries from Europe. On the other hand, at the same time Calcium reactors were having their debut on the market.
Ca reactors took advantage easily on this battle.… More:
Comprehensive planning of your aquarium

When planning your tank, nothing is ever too much. On my previous setups, almost immediately after the tank was fully working I noticed some kind of mistake. I don’t know about you but this has always happened to me. One of the great advantages of internet forums is the ability to communicate with thousands of reefers and share experiences.… More:

Underrated fish – Pyramid Butterflyfish (Hemitaurichthys polylepis)
Recently, Sanjay Joshi has been posting amazing articles sharing his experience with some very difficult to keep species, like the Bandit Angelfish or the Tuka Anthias, and I´ve learned a lot from them. Having said this, sorry dear readers…. I don´t have any successful stories on maintaining rare fish of any kind, I´m not an expert on fish-keeping.
What I can do is exactly the opposite,… More:
