Let’s proceed in order, and let’s start with one of the most acclaimed Vertex products, the LED lighting Illumina. Here were presented several innovations like the introduction of a different set of LEDs with other shades of color.

Interzoo 2012: The Aqua Bee Aquarientechnik booth
Still on the stand 4 we visited the Aqua Bee Aquarientechnik booth, where stood the new UP11000 Elektronic which, as the name, is capable of an output of 11,000 liters per hour and it is electronic.
The pump, being electronics, can vary the motor speed and thus is able to perform differently according to our regulations, and Aquabee had set up an aquarium where you could adjust the pump and in the same time to measure the maximum head, range and fuel consumption

Interzoo 2012: The Aquatronica booth
During our trip inside Interzoo we could not miss an historical company for aquarium automation: Aquatronica, which we visited in Hall 2. It ‘s been a pleasure to meet again in person Massimo Brandi, second from left in photo, who strongly wanted Aquatronica and created from scratch.
Today Aquatronica it’s a global reality, and, as we had anticipated a few weeks ago (Aquatronica unveils the new Touch Screen!) the system has been updated with a brand new Touch Screen. I will not repeat what has already been highlighted in the article linked, but seeing it live is truly spectacular.

At booth number 7 we met the Italian CE.A.B., where we were greeted by an uncommon passion for lighting.

Interzoo 2012: The Teco booth
Continuing in Hall 4, we visited the Teco, an Italy company specializing in aquarium refrigeration. In truth, I really think is the only company specialized in this area, given that we have not seen any other.
We immediately started talking about Echill, presented two years ago and in the production and sale since last year, a product that we loved, that we had a preview on our website (World premiere: The Teco E-Chill is here. How setting in this incredible video by DaniReef) and we will release shortly a very complete review.

Interzoo 2012: The Aqua Medic booth
Interzoo, and always Hall n.4, there was another big giant of the aquarium world, which also played at home in Germany, Aqua Medic.
It’s been a pleasure to touch all the innovations presented, which were really interesting and at an high level. To me then there was also a dejavu, since my first skimmer, at the dawn of time, it was an Aqua Medic, the legendary Turboflotor 1000 multi sl, which was precisely the object of the first article I wrote about the world of aquarium, and that if you want you can read here: Deltec MCE600 vs Aquamedic Turboflotor 1000 multi sl (only in italian sorry), it was a project, among other things, so great that the skimmer is still in production today.… More:

Interzoo 2012: The Prodibio booth
Walking inside the Stand 4, we visited the small stand Prodibio that seemed extremely interesting. I presume that you all know the Prodibio as one of the most important companies in the production of bacteria for aquarium, and that therefore many of you have used the mythical glass vials.
During the show Prodibio presented a new protocol for the treatment of diseases in aquarium… More:

Interzoo 2012: The Elos booth
Continuing our comprehensive reportage about Interzoo, we arrived at the hall 4 where we saw the Elos booth. In the picture above the owner of Elos, Dr. Nicola Gandini, on the right, cheerfully greets us.
As always, the Elos booth has been full of news and it was a pleasure to photograph everything we could. The design of Elos products is linear, simple and extremely appealing. As we have already written on the occasion of our editorial, we look at maturity of this company and the desire to innovate that seems to be part of its DNA.
