Shaw's Cowfish (Aracana aurita) is one of my favorite fish. Males and Females are dimorphic. Pictured are my females. These fish come from the temperate waters around Australia. They also harbor the toxin ostracitoxin which can quickly wipe out a tank full of fish if released.
These fish are best kept in a species-only tank with temperatures at a max 70 degrees Fahrenheit but it is probably better to keep the temp around 60. They are very curious fish so when it comes to feeding they will try almost anything. I've had great success by starting them with fresh shrimp.
