I'm not to sure if it looks like a monti or an lps. Have you looked at it when the lights have been off for a little to check for feeding tentacles? Hey, frag it and call it debbytheflower monti. Lol

By any chance does it feel soft/slimy? If so than it could be a mushroom. I've seen a rock covered with that green stuff

Nevertheless, great coral. I have a bright green one, darn resilient. Mine survived 55 degree temps during Sandy.
