Im fascinated by these edge tanks. Ive asked around but cant get a straight answer, anyone have seen or can pre see an issue with oxygen levels and ph in these tanks? BEing that its covered on top. Ive even heard of people further covering the little hole on top. Thinking of getting a 12g edge! :0)
I have never had any issues with Ph.mine stays pretty steady at 8.2-8.3
Not too sure about O2 though
..coral a have been doing great as well as my clowns.
Top offs aren't too bad also..I top off every other day..in the Summer..may have to do it every day..
As with any other edge user the biggest downfall is the small opening.
I certainly notice my water evaporating but not as much as other tanks. I top off every couple of days but just by feeding it usually does the trick...
