ok out of the metal halides se and the de which will last longer ? what is the time you can usually get out of them before replacing them ? compared to t-5's they last longer or not? i know growth wise metals and color wise t5's correct. not enough people using the led's to comment or are you ? if so what is the life span on those infinity? with color or growth or too early to tell? Now that is alot of questions answer only what you know to be true in your tank.

I have se 12k 250-400w that i change every 6months

Most mh last around 9 months before starting to color shift, t5's around 12 months

many variables in determining when to change bulbs. but generally DE needs to be change the most often(6-9 months). SE (9-12). T5 (12-18)
