The $100,000 Aquarium

Our friend Justin Muir at City Aquarium was recently featured by the Wall Street Journal for his work constructing celebrity aquariums.  Justin works in that rare market where cost is no object and artistic design is a core requirement.  Catering to some of the wealthiest people in the New York area can be challenging, not just in terms of meeting high expectations, but more importantly about breaking through to new levels of aquarium manufacturing and design that no one has ever seen before.  Concealing the internals of these tanks would be challenging for most people, but quite clearly those are table stakes when you are doing installs for Ben Affleck and Jorge Posada.  Take a sneak peek into this side of the industry with the video above and stay tuned to Reefs.com for more information on groundbreaking aquarium design.
