leopard wrasse sex change?

This is the first time i have a leopard wrasse. bought a female because my wife liked the way it looked being brown and white (first pic). Oh well, 8 months later she looks like this (second pic), wife is not to happy but i'm thrilled lol. I have read they can change sex like clown fish do, what do you think.

I noticed the color change the last time i was over. I think i side with your wife, i like the look of the female more than the look of the male.

As mentioned by Alfie that's what Leopards do if there isn't another large male around. Male Melagris are beautiful too... You won't be disappointed ...LOL. Be careful adding a female there maybe aggression use an acclimation box.

all i know is i tried 4 leopard wrasses that my original at home kills each one,,, so im stuck w one leopard wrasse now, your fish looks great
