The 220 gallon tank is officially broken down! Here is a before and after and where I’m house the corals I have left over before we move them in early February! The journey of moving a tank has been something else, I would have to say!

Wholly crap! Was just saved by the TRIDENT! So it's been pretty crazy the last couple of weeks, setting up the new tank and breaking down the 220. In doing all of this, I took off the trident for a week or so as I rearrange everything and as soon as I set it back up yesterday I get these high readings of Alk and Calcium and noticed some of the corals not too happy.

Now, if I would have been a lazy non-testing reefer, I would have thought it's not a problem because it's just because of the move, but the real reason is because my alk jumped from 8 to 10 ALK. Trident is a life saver for those that just have a lot going on man! Worth every penny.

So any how, while at the office, I quickly just turned off the ALK, CAL, will do a water change when I get home and will adjust the settings now that I just took off over 250 gallons off the system (my 220 and 30 nem tank).

Hey Guys here are a few pics of the tank mve. Its been a crazy few months. Lets just say that moving the tank was a beast and not just got water in the new 300 gallon. I love the dimensions on this double braced glass tank!

What’s up MR family. Hope all of you guys and your families are safe and away from this madness. I have not posted in sometime because my wife just gave birth to our beautiful little princess and we finally moved back to NYC. I’m going to share a few photos and videos of the new build but here is the Apex mounting board to start off with. I want to give my boy Rich C a shout-out for 3D printing all the inserts for me. The mount is in the office/fish room and 300 gallon main display tank is in the other side of the living room.

Congrats on the birth of your daughter!!! New tank looks great and the build is coming along nicely. What are the dimensions on that bad boy?
Frank
Thanks a lot Frank! It's been a lot of work over the last 4 months especially but definitely worth it man. Tank Dimensions is 8 feet wide 3o inches deep and 24 inches high. I absolutely love the height because it's really easy t work in the tank.

Congrats on being a father and your amazing build. Look forward to your photos. Welcome back to NYC. Tough times with all what’s going on. Good to get our minds on hobby during this.
Thanks a lot man. Looking forward to getting my daughter addicted to this hobby like myself lol. I took a bunch of pictures and videos of the tank this evening so I’ll put together a video of the upgrade and post here soon. Here is a tank shot for now.
