Placing Live Rock in Tank

Hey everyone,

Does anyone put anything between the rock and the bottom of the tank? Or just rock on glass?

I put it very slowly and carefully onto the glass. Some people put plastic egg crate down first

Some use sheets of flat pvc

Some float it above the sand with PVC pieces so fish can swim through front to back and have placed to hide. If you do it right you can’t see the PVC pipe at all.

I use clear acrylic rods, drilled into base of rock… very hard to see it!

Good idea.... I use them for assembly, never thought to use as feet
