Hey buddy,
Not much to update, tank went thru a quick ugly stage and got son powdery bright green algae the only lasted a week.
Tank still has no fish since after the lost of my PB and Blonde Naso Tang and still 4 more weeks to go fishless.
I was supposed to go to my buddy Rachid (@Thatguy96) but sometimes came up and couldn't make it.
Planning on starting setting up my calcium Reactor soon.
The test corals I've got from my friend are doing really, growing and showing better coloration than when I got them.
This is the very 1st time I've seen an Acro frag coloring up in one of my tanks instead of loosing coloration, lol

Overall tank is doing very well so far and I'm very happy with it.

Update:
Put some fish that I qt'ed in the DT last Saturday, its been a week and thanks God no signs of any illness yet. DT was fishless for 9 weeks.

Getting Red Turf algae on the rocks, not really going crazy and just letting it be, looked everywhere for information on how to get rid of it and really not much to do.

Lost the WD and the PC Rainbow frag, the rest of the frags lost coloration and are not looking so happy, expected for SPSs in a new tank.

Quick update, not my favorite but sadly this situations are part of the hobby.
Tank went through the ugly stage and it got really ugly. Red Turf algae got worse and on top of that got Diaton and then Cyano.
Lost every single frag of SPS due to RTN and Hammer heads closed and never reopened again.
Sent water samples for ICP testing and everything came back on check except Aluminum and Silica, both were a bit high.

Been that I have no corals left I did a 5 days tank blackout, on day 3 I dosed Chemiclean and on day 6 I did a 50% WC. Started running some Rowaphos and Brightwell Purit, replaced my DI resin cartridge for Spectrapure Silicabuster and also added an 8×8×4 Marine Pure block dosing Dr. Tim's Eco-Balance.

So far those problems seems to be resolved and tank is showing improvement.

are you using a tds meter to check ro out put ?
Yes I do, there's an in-line TDS meter on my RODI filter and I also double check with a portable one.

I use well water that is softened by a whole house water softener system them filtered through the RO filter ( sediment, carbon, carbon and RO membrane) to a 55 gallon container to be aerated with air stones and air pump for no less than 24 hours to get rid of the CO2 from the well and then through the mixed DI resin.

So what fish do you have in the tank now? Have you tested parameters recently? How often are you testing?
Right now I have 6 Damsels, a pair of Mocha Gladiator Clownfish and a Scopas Tang. Also have a Magnificent Foxface and a Fire Goby almost done with QT.

Right now I'm not testing for Alk, Cal or Mag due to not having any corals but testing nutrients which are stock for a while at NO3: 10+ ppm (Salifer) and PO4: 0.092 ppm (Hanna Phosphorus ULR).

Hey Juan, any updates on progress?

Hey buddy,
Not much to say really other than thanks God the Red Turf Algae from hell seems to be dying but still can not keep any Acros alive due to STN.

I’ve been thinking about adding sand to see if it makes any difference, I’ve never had these problems on any of my previous setups no matter if with sand or bare bottom systems.
