Just wondering how often you are adding fish? I found that it seems to work out best if you can wait at least a month in between introducing new fish into your system.

Yeah, my new additions are generally at least a month apart. Except on this occasion when I put the wrasse in a week after the hippo. But I've never had any kind of ammonia spike or anything.

What Jeremy has said is exactly the reason I feel buying wild caught saltwater fish is such a crap shoot. I do feel however that if a person can find someone like Jeremy that knows where the animals come from, and is informed enough about the collection methods used by certain collectors, that they will have a good chance of buying quality animals. In fact, if I was someone who was having problems keeping new fish alive (NOTE: I am not referring to anyone on this board

) I would consider buying from Jeremy.

I've actually seen that fairy (or a similar one) from the marshall's that does really well for me. What wholesaler they stop at can matter too...
