***My lfs has a A. teneti(sic) common name lieutenant tang, my lfs had a pic of it in one of there older fish guides,still havent found any info on it on the net,its a subdued blue/gray fish w/ a very small black "c" shape marking about a 1/4"in size behind the gills,light blue/white tip on the tail and dark blue spot in front of tail fin.
Any one know anything of theses???

That sounds like it may be right, any info on it, I cant find it anywhere, and I've checked every pocket guide,and website I can find.

I have one and it is a beautiful fish.
It was sold to me some time ago as a blue dot tang.
It grows extremely fast and is only suitable for a 600 ( six hundred gallon) tank. It grows to 24 inches. As a result I have put mine up for sale.
If you search 'vlamingi' on this board you will find some beautiful pictures.
