I am looking for a clip on fan to clip to my sump or stand so it will blow over my sump. I have tried, home depot, wal-mart, office depot, office max, radio shack, k-mart. Any ideas? Is there a place online where you can get these. I tried all the computer stores because I figuered they would have one you would clip to a desk.

another thing that is funny is that I bought a $50 12v power supply to run two $5 computer fans..lol But since I already have 3 grand invested in my big tank, whats another $60..lol

One nice thing about the 12v fans is they run quieter than the 110v. I have 4 muffin fans and it sounds like an air plane taking off when the lights come on lol. Thanks for looking though.

Office World On-line has this nifty 6" personal fan made by Lakewood. It has plastic parts- no rusting! And the $28.70 price is nice. =)

I tried to link you directly to the fans, but their shopping system won't allow it sooooo...

See the Type SEARCH Here box at the top of the page? Type "clip fan" and hit enter. That should do it!

Keep trying Wal-Mart they are just now restocking their fans for the coming months. I just bought one the other day for $8. The store near me just got them in last week.

Why not splice the 12v fans onto an old 12v converter (those powercords with the big black box that take up way too much room on the socket)? Heard of some guy who did this and I gave it a try and it works like a charm. Used an old answering machine plug and wired a flip switch onto it that I bought at Ace for like $2. HTH.
