Is this good enough for the tough critics out there.

Okay here is a topic that always comes up. I need to know if my filtration upgrade will do much better than my existing one in my 29 gallon. Right now I have fluval 204 running under my tank. I have about 20 to 30 pounds of live rock. I also have a countercurrent protein skimmer. It is a fOWLR. I am thinking of making a small sump uinderneath my tank that does 270gph. I know that's enough water movement because I also have a 17-gph power head. Anyways I will keep the skimmer and all the live rock but I will also get a 3-4inch DSB. Before I only had a 2 inch crushed coral sandbed. Is this enough for a 29gallon.

There is never enough in reefing terms.......... But whatever works with your budget and space.
