did a search and didn't really come up with the type of info i was looking for. what do you folks use and what do you like or dislike about that system.

I don't really care about light controls. but want to monitor water parameters and if possible have some ability to change them in my absence. have been having ph swing problems and have been wanting to start dosing with kalk. i know i need to get on the ball but am working a ton of hours so it's hard to do. what do i need to track and what works best to track it.

Hello reefsrcool, i run an aquadyne octopuss 3000. It will control every thing in and around your tank. Plus as an added advantage, there's very little spaggetti running from it. A little picy to show you the size

I own both an octopus, and a neptune controller.

I much prefer the neptune, cheaper probes, better software, aftermarket software, 1 built in input (have to hack cable, manual has instructions)

also can run relay switches, 4 or 8 port rather than x10

and better support, I have yet to get an answer from aquadyne :( They ignore my emails
