Hi all

I was surfing in www.dogpile.com for "foam block" replacement and I found this>> http://aquaricare.com/default.asp

While I was reading thru this quite lengthy web site the information was exactly what Ive been looking for.
You see, I was ready to throw in the towel on our 55 gal/reef...ready to haul in the inhabitants to the local "Exotic Tropicals" fish shop and SELL THEM ALL!!
I think Ive kept "Exotic Tropicals" in black ink Long Enough.

What I found at this web site is some very Eye Opening 8O InFormation. Its just the stuff your local fish shop/pet store owner Dosnt Want you to know.

I'd never heard of Algae Scubbers and REAL Powered Pre Filters, until today.

I wanted to share this with as many people in the hobby as I could...PREHAPS it will save someone out there alot of diasappointment...and keep them from "throwing in the towel" like I was about to do.

Ive put an entire system on Lay-Away.
MY reef deserves Better than what Ive done for it...For sure!

Check it out...And pass the URL on to all.

A Happy Reefer....

I won't judge whether this is a masked commercial post or not, but I will personally say that the information posted on said website is blatently fradulent and counterproductive to good reef husbandry. My opinion, of course. Feel free to discuss.

If you want an idea of whether it's a masked commercial, check out all his other posts.

I got stuck on that site once what a lot of dung.I was stumped because he posted on another topic with this link and I just didn't get how it was relative now it all makes sense. So maybe I did fall off the turnip truck last night. It is just scary someone new might think that legite, I got a price for a 180 on the site for$ 29116.00(I copied and pasted that figure) before the 4000.00 discount of course. How come I feel like they are yelling at me the whole time I am reading there site. Anyhow a big Gracias to Len our bouncer de Reefs.org.

I've given getsteppin the benefit of the doubt and have returned his membership access with the stipulation never he'll refrain from posting about this company again in the future.

Question #1

Is your aquarium equipment
slowly poisoning the aquarium
animals you are trying to keep alive?

Answer #1

The answer is YES if you are
using a Bacterial Filter!

In case you are not sure what a "Bacterial Filter" is, examples include Undergravel Filters, "Hang-On" Power Filters, Rotating Bacterial Wheels, Canister Filters, Wet/Dry Filters, Deep Layers of Sand (with or without plenums), Fluidized-Bed Filters, "Berlin" or Live-Rock Systems (with or without Protein Skimmers), and most other filter systems typically sold by Pet Shops and others.

Dang no wonder there arent any fish left in the ocean...
