splitting bta

well my bta that I've had for like 6 months split in half the other day. when these guys split do you have to do anything for them?
and is it good or bad when they split? the 2 of them look like they're ok i guess.

Stress will cause a BTA to split. If it thinks it's gonna die, it will split to better the chances of survival.

If your tank parameters are steady, IIt should be okay. WHat did you change lately? New lights, waterchange?

If it does okay you'll have one to trade back to the pet store, or trade for more corals!

no changes lately. Do water changes every week. He did start moving around a little for the first time since i've had before he split. i guess i did move my HOB skimmer over a little so the water flow over him was different, which is the only thing i can think that would be different.
