For people who can't get their hands on southdown sand. (like most canadians hehe). I found a very nice alternative. Its 5 dollars canadian a bag for 50 pounds. Its a playsand called "Bomix"
Its calcite based sand. And bubbles in vinegar. Its very white. almost like sugar. So if you're not fond of really white sand. Don't get it =)
