Looks like majanos :(

You could probably get a couple of hundred for them on ebay :lol:

Normal aiptasia methods won't work on majanos. I believe either Joe's Juice or kalk injections are your best shot if there's not that many. If the rest of your live rock is infested like the pics, a blow torch is better.

Good luck!

That looks like my tank did at one time!! :lol: :lol:

I found kalk paste worked the best of anything. Gotta put it on thick!

(not a fan of Joe's Juice myself)

Excellent question.

Zoanthids;
typically form a mat
stay put or crawl very little
Have difficulty hanging onto large pieces of food
Opaque stems

Mojano;
Are individual Anemone
Can roam several inches in a day if conditions are unfavorable
Can easily grab large chunks of meaty seafood and devour them quickly
semi-transparent stalks

I got some really pretty Mojano...it is a shame that I will have to kill them all.

Really flourescent GREEN and really PINKISH PURPLE tips. Excellent looking and pleasing to the eye...it is a shame they will have to die.

Does anyone want one?

Those sound more like Tulip Anemone. Just as prolific but a lot easier to remove.
