hey guys,

1. can acrylic be taken apart once they are glued? if so, how? and what can be used to repair cracks on acrylic?

2. what kind of vinegar are used to clean the equipments? like skimmer and pumps and stuff?

Just plain white vinegar, the cheapest you can buy. Or you could use some Balsamic with a touch of extra virgin olive oil.(JK)

As far as i know once you have welded two bits of acrylic together thats it.
unless the join is crappy and you can manage to break it along the join but chances are that wont go as planned.

Once you bond two pieces of acrylic together with a solvent (like weldon) it essentially becomes 1 piece. The solvent creates a molecular bond between the two pieces. The only way to get them apart is to cut them.

ah ok thanks guys

so what can i use to repair cracks on acrylic? silicon? and do i need to mix vinegar with water or just plain vinegar?
