bad day

spent the day in the emergency room of NYU I was carrying a 10 gal tank up my stairs missed a step and fell. I wound up cutting my right hand pretty bad!

went to local ER up here and they referred me to NYU seems I knicked the tenden on my pinky I mamaged to cut across my knuckles, and below my thumb on palm side. :banghead:

hand surgeon on call thinks I'll be OK but I have to see a hand specialist this week.

25 stiches, and a cast on my right hand.
looks like the 450 and all thhe other stuff I was doing will be put off another month

Frank sorry to hear that. I know when I hurt my hand it took some time, and it still isn't all the way back, for the tenden on my pinky and ring finger to work correctly. You would be surprised at how important the pinky finger is on your hand, it really controls the power in your hand. So if you cut the tenden I would count on being out for awhile longer then you think.

You can use this opportunity to practice your macro photograph. Your index finger can do most of the work with the help of a sturdy tripod in the next few weeks.

I know the feeling ,I fractured my leg last year this time on the ice ,took me out for a month as well.
