How do i bring down my ALK

I did a 30% water change cause it was 15dkh and now its 13 dkh ,
ph is 8.1,
I'm doing the Garf method . ..


And i just strated adding Purple up last week.. I'm trying to get my coraline algae to grow..

beside purple up what type of salt are you using? did you measure the alk of the fresh salt mix? lmk

Janey garf sucks. Cheaper and easier to use kalk or bionic.

13DKH isn't exactly dangerous, it will come down on its own.

I'm using Instant ocean. I read some where that it has high alk like 12dkh . Think i'm gonna use a better salt like kent marine..

Goona test the salk out and see whats up.
I got the bionic , gonna try try that then .. and kalk at nite ..
