Front chamber is 13 1/2" x 4" wide and open on top
Second chamber is 13 1/2" x 10" wide and open on top
Third chamber is 13 1/2" x what ever is left...think it's 16 but I cant read my writing..

Anyway...open area for a skimmer would be in the middle chamber which is 13 1/2" x 10"...
