I've seen the pre order pricing at about 365, which is a very attractive price IMO. There are videos on the web showing the touch controls as well.

i have the sol super blue and i love it , it was well worth the 6 or 650 i payed for it , what these ai lights do for the tank is incredible i wish i had a nano tank just to get one lol

I agree with Saltwater, they are definitely worth the money, I'm very happy with my SOL super blue modules and AI's tech support. One warning, if you do get that module start off very slow & low with the intensity adjustment because it is a very powerful light and will cook your corals.

Par isn't an issue with AI units so you can raise them pretty high and or change out the optics out from 40 to 70 degrees which will give you wider coverage at lower heights.

I think the Nanos are coming with 70 degree optics standard. I am going to be using one over my new 15 gallon rimless tank.. The dimensions are 19in wide x 13in x 13in. I would think anything up to the new Mr. Aqua 18 inch cubes would be fine with these fixtures.

That was smart of them to just use 70 degree optics. Looks like a great little lamp. I wonder if you can use the controller with it.

Don't quote me on this info, as I'm not 100% sure. I agree that it's a better idea to have 70 degree optics though.

That's cool because the latest beta firmware for the controller gives you a lot of flexibility even though it is a little buggy.
